![]() The family tradition continues with Landgon's Mercantile, (Jim and Eileen pictured here in logo form) located next door and adjoined to Glen Junction Restaurant, a unique New England "must see" store at the gateway to Mt. Washington. Eileen Langdon (Tom's sister) was also part of the 7 Januzzi children who came up to the Mt. Washington Valley every year from New Jersey. As an adult, Eileen shared her interest in the valley with her husband Jim and also brought their two children to New Hampshire each year for vacations. Their love for the woods, hiking, swimming and nature showed them they wanted New Hampshire to be a permanent place to raise their two boys, Michael and Jim. Their dream came true when they moved to New Hampshire in 1985 and opened Langdon's, now known as Langdon's Merchantile. Originally just a hiking/shoe store, today they call themselves a mini-department store. For children and adults, gift giver or hiker, Langdon's Merchantile offers a diverse variety of products. They have greeting cards, copy and fax services, gift items, stuffed animals, toys, frames, film, Acorn slippers, beautiful sweaters, Carhartt workwear, Jansport backpacks, coats, Hi-tech hiking boots (still one of our best selling shoe products since they first opened), Stegman clogs and more. The owners and staff at Langdon's Merchantile invite you to stop in 7 days a week. They're open Monday to Saturday 8:30AM to 6:00PM and 8:30AM to 5:00PM Sundays. 603-383-9575 Click Here for Langdon's website
